The free version of the antivirus Avira AntiVir often good reputation among advanced users, and would somehow the NOD32 antivirus free. Compared with Avast, but it offers no extravagant features, and lacks even a mail scanner resident. Yet it is praised for its efficiency and its interface is much more "traditional" than that of Avast, which may be less confusing.
